Fashion is something that has truly taken the world by storm. It is something that is seen and followed everywhere. We see Fashion every day while walking down the street carrying designer and statement bags. We see it posing on the billboards by the corner of our favorite coffee shops. We see it in magazines while we wait for our turn in the dentist’s office. We see it on our webpages, on Instagram, on YouTube videos, Facebook posts and so on. It is a never-ending list. Whatever you do and whoever you may be, you cannot escape fashion. It is in the simplest of things. It is in the way you tie your hair, the way you tuck in your shirt, the way you roll up your sleeves or pants. Truly, it is everywhere and why wouldn’t it be? It is a large platform with so much promotion. It is a whole other world. A world where you can be anything. A world where there is no limit and you can wear anything, where every color is accepted, every design, fabric, and style is accepted. It is a world of glitter and sparkles, a world of simple clothing items like women’s tops to extravagant ball gowns. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of this world? Thus, the following are ways to become fashionable.

Nobody is ever born to be the jack of all trades. Everything that we know now and are able to do is taught to us by someone. So, to become fashionable you need to learn from the gurus. That means supermodels and designers. You need to take inspiration from them. Fashion isn’t only about beauty, it is about how well you carry yourself in whatever you are wearing. Follow and read the looks of the supermodels. Check out Gigi Hadid’s street style or Blake Lively’s formal wear. Watch videos of famous fashion bloggers. Read interviews and articles from famous designers. Bury your head in fashion magazines like Vogue or GQ. Learn everything that there is to know and prepare yourself.

Contrary to popular belief, fashion doesn’t have to be uncomfortable. It doesn’t mean that you should always have your feet in killing high heels or your body clad in clothing so tight that you can hardly breathe. If you are visibly uncomfortable in something then there is no point in wearing it. Find clothes and accessories that you are relaxed with. Find sizes that you don’t mind wearing. Look chic and trendy but don’t compromise your comfort over that.

In the world of fashion, your mind is blown by the number of colors that you see. You see shades and tones that you don’t even know what to call! How amazing is that! This means that with a color palette that wide, you can mix and match as much as you want to. Find colors that you can rock. Create color combinations, blend it out, mix a black colored skirt with a shocking pink top. Wear that brown coat over your all-black outfit. The same thing is applicable to fabrics as well. You will see so much more than the basic denim and leather. You will find sequins, feathers, fleece, latex, mesh and so much more. Create a look with a little bit of everything. Don’t be stagnant upon the same old choices. Learn to think outside of the box and use everything that you find to your aid.  You can never go wrong with fashion, you just need to be able to pull it off.

Accessories are to fashion what sprinkles are to donuts; they complete them. Your outfit maybe 10/10 and approved by all the fashion gurus out there, but as long as it doesn’t have the right set of accessories, it would be incomplete. There are some basics that you must have. Let us work our way from head to toe. For beginners, you must have hats and caps. Then comes hair accessories like statement pins. Then we have our earrings. Invest in hoops, dangling earrings, simple studs and so on. Then we have our neck area. Get yourself chokers, simple pendants. Bulky necklaces and so on. Get chunky belts, anklets, toe rings and pretty much a little of everything. Get statement shoes like chunky sneakers, Vans, stilettos and so on.

Becoming fashionable isn’t a hard task. Especially in the current age, we have so many opportunities and influencers to learn from. There are so many places where you can begin. Fashion doesn’t always have to be expensive or time-consuming. It is exactly what you want it to be. So, find your style and hit the stores.
